  1. You need your vacation! And I was out for hours yesterday and absolutely cannot imagine having survived all that rush and madness with children in tow! The fact that you are all still alive and standing is an accomplishment in and of itself, I say. The only thing that kept me sane was ranting about everything I experienced, on Twitter. Because I’m mature like that 🙂
I think you’re doing just fine!

    1. Technically I had a super easy job shopping at Walmart because I only had one child (Nolan) and extra hands (nana), but still…I don’t know how anyone could ENJOY shopping this time of year. So many frustrating people! Like the woman who literally left her cart in the middle of the aisle, sideways, and stated at me when I said “excuse me” like I had sixteen heads.

Twitter rants are TOTALLY the way to go.

      1. I did so much better this year and bought like 50% of my presents in October and November… but then I fell off the wagon and saved it all up to the end. NEXT year will be better– that’s the key!

Oh, and I was in line behind a woman who had three kids sitting in two shopping carts full of stuff and was pushing them both at the same time. I went full on creeper and offered to help her to the parking lot because I had no idea how she was going to manage it… but she looked at me like a kidnapper and somehow got it done.
