Sarah and I brought back Sarcastica. It was the domain I had for years, the best part of my late teens and early adulthood. Sarcastica saw me through a lot. Surgeries, friendships disintegrating, and dating fails. I wrote my way through a lot of painful growth spurts.
I don’t know why I let it go…I loved that domain, I loved what it represented and now it’s back. Partly because Sarah knew how much I missed it, how nothing quite fit like that did, but also because Sarah is kind of impulsive in a totally good way. After a walk down memory lane with her, Sarah had my new domain registered before I even really wiped the sleep out of my eyes this morning.
Welcome back, Sarcastica. Oh how I’ve missed you.
I know, I change domains and blog names more than most people change their hairstyle. But hey, I’ll just keep telling myself…
It doesn’t matter where you write, so long as you write.
Sarah; quote me on that. It’s practically golden.
So, there’s going to be plenty of changes around here over the next few months. I’m hoping to bring a more professional look to my personal blog while still keeping it…well, personal.
Speaking of professional…guess who had their author headshots done recently? Yeah, me. Author headshots. Professional photos that will end up going on the back cover of my books (once I pick one, because I’m as indecisive as Sarah is impulsive). Here’s one for your viewing pleasure:
This weekend is jammed with plenty of author-related work. I need to finish up the first rounds of beta edits for Reckless Abandon, finalize the cover for Damaged Goods, and possibly fire out at least 5k of the third and final installment of the Collide series.
That isn’t including all the other engagements I have this weekend and the tweaking I need to do on my blog here, so I’ll probably be pretty quiet this weekend.
